Mini Monsters

I did come up with an awesome Valentine mini monster card. I made up the sentiment, "I only have eyes for you" and used the monster with three eyes. I have to stop at Joanns and get somw googly eyes to glue on them, so I will post pics when I am done.

Great Vellum Tip I Made Up

I make vellum stickers whenever I come up with a fun saying that I don't have a stamp for. I made up this awesome Valentine card idea when I saw this little alien on my new Life's A Party cartridge. I printed the "you're outa this world" sayings on vellum. Then I cut out the planets, ran them through my Xyron sticker maker, and stuck them to the back of the vellum. Then you just cut out around the planet and you have a great sentiment to ad to the card. It looks so cute next to my little alien spaceship.

Crazy Messed Up Day

Well today was an emotional rollercoaster. I was horribly ill this morning from something I ate the night before. Then I found out that my mom has a cancerous tumor on her cervix and has to have a hysterectomy as soon as possible. THEN my sis in law delivered my niece this afternoon. Hopefully tomorrow will be a much happier day when Meggie and I go to visit my sis in law and "she who has not been named."

New cartridges

I got my new cartridges in the mail today and ordered my Gypsy, which I am super excited about. It will be so fun to design on the go.

I want to make a Valentine card using the Mini Monsters cartridge. I have to figure out exactly how I will design it, but I think it will be cute.

Random Crafts of Kindness

This is the first card that I made for a fundraiser for my parent's church. My dad is a pastor and their church, like many others, has really been struggling over the past year. They were not able to pay the pastor full salary, causing him to take half salary the entire year. I offered to make 100 Valentine cards for them to sell at $2 each. I am hoping that this will motivate others to help as well. If you are interested in helping with any of my random crafts of kindness projects this year please let me know.

A New Year

I love New Years because it feels like we get this chance every year for a fresh start. Everyone needs to be able to just start over with a clean slate every once in awhile.
