A get well card for our friends 2 year old that has a broken leg and a cast. The inside has Tigger and says, "we hope you'll be feeling like your bouncy self soon." I used a CardzTV stamp set for the sentiment on this card. I used the Pooh and Friends cartridge.

A Tuesday Poem
The Light On The Hill
I appreciate your strength
The ever enduring force,
For though your faith may falter
You manage to stay the course.
Even though at times you’re lost
I admire your sense of direction,
I admire your sense of direction,
For you know that you’re surrounded
By the warmth of God’s protection.
I know you’ll go the distance
For you know to follow the light,
In the darkness on the hill
It dampens the fear of the night.
As the waves come crashing in
Destruction in their wake,
Your ship will make it through
Due to the prayers that you make.
And in the future you’ll look back
At the journey you went through,
And thank God for the courage
That helped you make it through.

Venting
Feeling a little frustrated today and in the need to vent. I'm growing pretty tired of this three year medical journey that I've been through. Just when I think that they may have eveything figured out and I might actually be on the right track, I find out that I have to see yet another specialist and wait again to try to get an appointment. Now we're onto an endocronolist to do a wide range of pituitary hormone tests.
I know it could be so much worse, but on days like today when I already feel pretty yucky, the frustrations just come to a peak. I'm pretty tired of questioning why and want them to just fix it. I want to be a great mommy 100% of the time, instead of having to crash so often because I'm so tired.

A Monday Poem
Crafters Block
By Julie McElhinney
I’ve got some paper
And three kinds of glue,
Ten pounds of yarn
And a mound of glitter too.
I have buttons and bows
Of every color and size,
Embellishments galore
Are stored before my eyes.
I have five kinds of scissors
About a hundred markers too,
I can color or paint a picture
I just don’t know what to do.
I have a ton of projects
That are not quite complete,
I feel like doing something new
So the doldrums I can beat.

Free Digis For Sunday - Daddy Daughter and Diamond Accesories
A Sunday Poem
The Cliché Of Life
By Julie McElhinney
In every life some rain must fall
Whether it’s a sprinkle or a monsoon,
We all face our hardships
Feeling helpless and full of gloom.
Some say the grass looks greener
When you look at the other side,
But when you have no grass at all
You feel like you want to hide.
Some say when one door closes
Another is soon to open,
But when you find your door is locked
You feel eternally broken.
Life is not an easy cliché
That can be solved in a sentence,
Each person faces a different day
Within each and every instance.
