December Christmas Challenge

Create any Christmas card with any of my ScrapHappy Paper Crafter free digis for a chance to win an RCK pack (if you live in the US) or a free digi if you are outside the US.

The first five entrants will each get to choose a free digi theme as soon as they have posted their image.  One free digi per person.

Takin a Holiday Break

Hi crafters. I believe I will be taking a break from ScrapHappy postings of new digis til probably after Christmas. I have pneumonia again and am feeling pretty rough. I hope you all have an excellent Christmas. I've really enjoyed crafting with all of you over the past year and hope to continue into 2013.

If you want to send me a Christmas card or some encouragement with a get well email me and I will forward my mailing address.

Early Christmas Gift

Ok so I broke down and gave my mom her apron early. We are all making Christmas cookies this weekend and I really wanted her to wear it then.

Ok so my mom doesn't really remember to look at my blog, so I'm pretty sure that she won't see this before Christmas.

I drew a pic of my mom wearing the apron with her three grandkids around her holding her cookies. I printed the image on some printable fabric and then ironed it on to Steam A Seam. Then I cut around the image and ironed it onto the apron that I made. I'm pretty sure that she will love it so much that she never uses it. ;-)

It's that time of year when many of us in the US pause to think about what we are really thankful for.  We all have so much to be thankful for throughout the year, but I am thankful for YOU!  Thank you for your comments, encouragement and for stopping by to visit.  During so many days when I am really feeling bad, it helps to think that maybe I have brightened someone elses day through my art work and perhaps made someones world a little better place  in doing so.  I hope you all have a happy and safe holiday.
