Day 2 of the Pink Stamper 12 Days of Christmas

I'm having fun getting into Robyn's Christmas challenges. Today we are supposed to do a random acts of kindness challenge for someone that we don't really know. There are some people at work that I don't know very well yet, so I am making some hot chocolate goody bags for people. Will post pics when I'm done.

I made this Christmas tag for the My Pink Stamper 12 Days of Christmas challenge. We were supposed to use a cartridge that isn't Christmas specific. I used my Best of 2007 cartridge to make the doll. I made my niece a rag doll for Christmas, so I thought that this would be the perfect tag for her gift.

Cookie fun has started!

This card is for one of my best friends that just moved away and got settled into her new place. I know moving is so stressful, so I hope this card brightens her day. I am loving this K&C Company paper pack that I got at Joanns the other day. It is perfect for card making.

Baking Day

I was feeling better today so decided to bake. I'm definitely in the mood for christmas cookies. I made some banana bread and these gingerbread cookies today. My plan to frost them with my daughter tomorrow after we make some more cutouts. I'm cheating this year im getting some frozen cookie dough. It will just be so much faster than making my own sugar cookie dough. So nice to go to the fun part of cutting out the cookies and baking and icing them. This will be the first time that my daughter helps mr  make sugar cookies. I'm really looking forward to it!

I made this card for a sick cousin. I like to make encouragement cards. I know it means a lot to me when I get them in the mail. People don't always think of sending them when yoy're sick.

One Smart Cookie Card

I made this card for my friend that just finished taking her finals. I used the foamies paint that I have to make the fosting and gumdrop buttons. I also love to use my copper stamp pad to "age" the edges of my tan paper. I think this effect really adds something special.

Just Because Cards

I just got the Just Because Cards cartridge for my Cricut. I was going back and forth for awhile before deciding to get that one. I have a couple on my wish list that I am just not sure about quite yet. It seems like a lot of people really like the Doodlecharms cartridge, but I'm just not sure if I want it. I'd like to get Winnie The Pooh, but I question if I will really use it that often. Then I was thinking how nice it would be to get a Gypsy someday to load all of my cartridges on. It would be fun to play with when I'm not at home. I think my Cricut wish list may be a little too long.
