Thanks For Your Prayers

Thank you everyone for all of your prayers.  I really felt a comfort laying in bed yesterday afternoon.  I suppose it's hard to describe, but I felt like a sort of peace surrounded me and I knew everything would be alright.

For those who haven't followed very long, I have a kidney disease called IGA Nephropathy, which is an auto immune disorder.  It is coupled with a rare pain condition of the kidneys called LPHS (loin pain hematuria syndrome).  I have done excellent for close to a year now. I've had a few bad days here and there but nothing like yesterday.  I am thankful to be feeling a little better today, but it does appear that my condition may be coming out of remission as my protein loss levels were extremely high yesterday.

Crafting is my therapy and I always make my digis free to encourage others to craft as well.  I am an artist at heart and having that outlet has helped me push past the hard days and make something beautiful through all the pain.  I like to think that I can somehow learn from what I've gone through and make the world a little better place through the process.

So Scrap HAPPY everybody and have an excellent day!!!

  4. Julie, I am happy you feel a little better today. I understand about crafting being your therapy. It is for me too. Without card making I could not bare the illness and pain I am in. I am so glad we have your wonderful digis and inspiration. Thank you. Edwina Brown
