A Friday Poem

The End Of Night
By Julie McElhinney

Don’t be sad little one
The day’s not over yet,
There will be days full of fun
You just haven’t seen them yet.

Very soon you’ll be well
Smiling and glad as can be,
So on the sadness do not dwell
Soon the happy times you’ll see.

There is a world full of care
That is watching over you,
Loved ones are always there
Helping you get through.

You can’t have the dark
Without the morning light,
So watch for the spark
That triggers the end of night.
