The Light On The Hill
I appreciate your strength
The ever enduring force,
For though your faith may falter
You manage to stay the course.
Even though at times you’re lost
I admire your sense of direction,
I admire your sense of direction,
For you know that you’re surrounded
By the warmth of God’s protection.
I know you’ll go the distance
For you know to follow the light,
In the darkness on the hill
It dampens the fear of the night.
As the waves come crashing in
Destruction in their wake,
Your ship will make it through
Due to the prayers that you make.
And in the future you’ll look back
At the journey you went through,
And thank God for the courage
That helped you make it through.
